Though coffee tables are a 20th Century invention, many antique tables have been reworked to fit the bill. Also large flat top boxes work very well and provide extra storage.

A late 19th century ash coffee table with single front drawer, great colour and very useful. A well used top. 40" x 31" and 20" high.

  19th Century Walnut Coffee Table
A superb 19th Century 3 plank walnut top on white painted base with single drawer to front. Great colour. 34" x 29" and 20" high

  18th Century Oak Coffer
A good c1740 oak 3 panelled coffer on stile feet, just 38" wide, 18" deep and 20" high. Replacement hinges and a few scars of time, including the later carving to panels, but fab coffer at a great price.

  18th Century Marquetry Cassone
A good late 18th oak marquetry dome top Southern German or northern Italian Cassone on slipper feet. The inside has a candle box and the sides have original iron handles. Certainly makes a statement. 55" x 28" x 31".

This is a very good camphor wood box with iron handles to the side, c1900. It has a brass handle to front.  34" x 16" x 15".

  19th Century Long Box
A late 19th century stained pine box with full length opening lid, great colour and very useful.  72" long x 18"deep and 20" high.

   Amazing Pollard Oak Box
This is unique. A mid 19th century pollard oak English box with lift up lid all on castors. The sides and panels are almost 2 inches thick and it weighs a ton. The quality of the carving is superb, the columns are wonderful. Please ask for more pictures if interested.
