18th Century Dutch Delft 9" Vase by De Porceleyne Bijl c1770 V

Superb survivor from the last half of the 18th Century made by the De Porceleyne Bijl ( The Porcelain Axe) factory in Delft which closed in 1803. Their classic axe mark to the base. The pattern is of a deer with an all over pattern to the front. 9" tall and 6" across the widest point this is an impressive vase. Probably from c1770 it's condition is typical of vases of this type, no cracks or restoration, fritting and chips to the rim and base, classic of period tin glazed earthenware.
